1999 - A new name!

The (RATS) Rainham Amateur Theatrical Society’s committee votes to change the abbreviation to reflect the standard of drama produced on our stage. The ‘Amateur’ was removed and the ‘a’ was used to reflect the area, Rainham was abbreviated to ‘Ra’ and have ever since, been known as (RaTS) Rainham Theatrical Society.
