Nicholas Robinson

Nicholas’ thoughts on the Oasthouse:

“What truly sets the Oasthouse Theatre apart is its unwavering dedication to collaboration. Every show is a testament to the collective effort of talented actors, directors, designers, and technicians working together to bring a vision to life. Whether you’re a long-time theatre lover or a newcomer, the Oasthouse Theatre is a place where you’ll find warmth, passion, and artistry at its best. It’s a space that welcomes you, builds community, and leaves a lasting impression with every performance.”

Phil Gallagher aka Mr Maker

Phil was born and bred in Rainham and is well known nationwide by children and parents alike for his fabulous creations as Mister Maker on Ceebeebies. When he’s not on the TV you can find Phil performing at the annual Marlowe Theatre pantomime.

We are honoured to have had Phil on board with us since 2022 as our patron.

Phil’s thoughts on the Oasthouse:

It has been my honour to watch and support so many fantastic shows at The Oasthouse Theatre. The hard work by my friends at Rainham Theatrical Society never ends - their focus on the Theatre & how they can entertain their audiences is incredible. There is a real togetherness within the building from cast, crew, volunteers & the enthusiastic people who come to enjoy the productions. We are really lucky to have such a brilliant, theatrical gem on our doorstep!“
