Thanks also go to the members of the Jewish Community for their guidance in "matters Jewish".
A heart warming and moving story based on the well known diary kept by Anne Frank during their two years in hiding from the Nazis during the Second World War.
Footnote:
In August 1944 their hiding place was discovered, and all occupants were shipped to Auschwitz. The Gestapo moved
Anne and her sister to Bergen-Belson where, in early 1945, they died of typhus. Mrs Frank, the Van Daans and Mr Dussel
all died in Auschwitz. Only Mr Otto Frank survived.
Mr Kraler had also been imprisoned for helping the Frank family, but Miep escaped and kept Anne's diary safe.
It was published in 1947. Mr Frank died, aged 91, in 1980.
