December 1977 - The Concert Party

1977 saw the founding of the concert party by Bill Beck & Doreen Cottam. They would be known as ‘The RoAsTerS’ (a quirky mix of RATS & Oast! They later became known as ‘RaTS Revellers’ fronted by Dean Caston and performed hundreds of shows to WI’s, nursing and retirement homes across the county. Due to issues of dwindelling members the group was disbanded in 2012.
